Planter Depth Calibration Tool
After continued planter use, wear points will cause the depth to change over time. Using the same setting on the planter unit will result in inconsistent depth.
By utilizer the Set-N-Seed, the proper notch can be identified, or depth can be dialed in exactly by adjusting set screws and nut adjustments depending on what planter model is being calibrated.
Set-N-Seed Planter Depth Calibration Calibration Tool: This tool will allow for a depth calibration from 1" to 2.5". In just a few steps, each row unit can be calibrated in only 30-45 seconds. This creates a reliable and consistent depth across the planter ensures no hidden yield loss due to depth variation.
The 1/4" Side attachments gives the ability to dial in your depth at 1/4" increments. It can also be used as an additional 1/2" attachment if placed on the bottom of the yellow 1/2" attachments giving you the ability to calibrate to a 3" seeding depth.
By placing this 1/2" center adapter in the center of the Set-N-Seed, you can raise the initial depth from 1" to 1/2" for smaller seed planting depth. Simply unscrew the existing metal protective plate, insert the 1/2" adapter, then place the metal protective plate back on the adapter and screw in with the new bolts provided.

Dial in your row unit depth by 1/4" increments!
Need a shallower starting depth? Utilize the center adapter to create a 1/2" seeding depth!
Once in the deepest setting, the disk openers will rest on the metal protection plate while the gauge wheels rise to the desired depth determined by Set-N-Seed block and additional side attachments. Most all planter makes and models utilizing 1/4" notches can be set this way.
Easily calibrate a Case planter with the Set-N-Seed
Questions have been brought up concerning the ability of Set-N-Seed being able to set the depth with row units that utilize Precision Planting Conceal Liquid System.
it works well due to the ability of Conceal’s ability to absorb shock. The knives rise up on the side rail and attachments as the Set-N-Seed is being lifted by a floor jack. The gauge wheels rest firmly on the side rails, while the disk opener blades center on the steel protection plate creating a known, consistent depth.
